Stant 27167 Thermostat Gasket for Dodge (1978–2010): Grand Caravan, Caravan, Omni and more

Dodge built everything from family sedans to vans to work trucks that earned their keep, and Dodge owners tend to keep their vehicles running long after other people would have given up. For the 27167, that covers the Omni and Aries, the Caravan minivans that changed family driving in 1984, the Dakota pickup, and a few late ones like the 2009–2010 Journey.

This page lists only the Dodge models the Stant 27167 is catalogued to fit. It isn't a wall of every car ever made, just yours.

Help choosing the right gasket

The 27167 is a Stant Stat Lok thermostat gasket, made in the USA. It replaces the older Stant number 25167. "Stat Lok" means it has an adhesive backing that holds the thermostat centered in its seat while you bolt the housing down, so there's no gasket cement, no thermostat falling out, and less risk of cracking the outlet flange. Its sister part, the 27140, fits mostly earlier V8s and trucks, so check which number your car calls for.

Before you order, match three things: your year, your model, and your engine. Catalogs list fitment by vehicle, but some engines had more than one thermostat housing design over the years. If your old gasket is still in hand, compare its shape and bolt holes, or just ask Don and Kathy. They'll help you sort it out.

Real people behind the parts

Back in 1997, when almost nobody had a website, Don and Kathy were already selling car parts online. They were the very first web customer of Daniel Comp's Intelligent Network. They've since sold through eBay, Bonanza, and their own site, and kept the sales coming no matter how often the internet changed its rules.

These gaskets come from Don's own shelves, in original Stant bags marked Made in USA.

No list price. Let's make a deal.

Don and Kathy don't do fixed prices on these. It works like a good swap meet: tell them what you need and how many, and they'll work out a fair deal with you one on one. Buying for a club, a shop, or a whole fleet of project cars? Even better.
