Stant 27140 Thermostat Gasket for Plymouth (1941–1978): Fury, Belvedere, Suburban and more
Plymouth was Chrysler's everyday brand, the car a working family could afford, and it also built some of the wildest muscle of its era. For the 27140, that runs from the Valiant and Belvedere to the Fury, GTX, and the winged 1970 Superbird.
This page lists only the Plymouth models the Stant 27140 is catalogued to fit. It isn't a wall of every car ever made, just yours.

Help choosing the right gasket
The 27140 is a Stant Stat Lok thermostat gasket, made in the USA. "Stat Lok" means it has an adhesive backing that holds the thermostat centered in its seat while you bolt the housing down, so there's no gasket cement, no thermostat falling out, and less risk of cracking the outlet flange. Its sister part, the 27167, fits a different set of mostly later, smaller engines, so check which number your car calls for.
Before you order, match three things: your year, your model, and your engine. Catalogs list fitment by vehicle, but some engines had more than one thermostat housing design over the years. If your old gasket is still in hand, compare its shape and bolt holes, or just ask Don and Kathy. They'll help you sort it out.
Real people behind the parts
In their early web days, Don and Kathy built separate "garages" online, one for Mustangs, one for Chevettes, and one for Corvettes, so that every owner could find their own corner. These pages carry on that idea: every brand gets its own page, with only the models that matter to you.
These gaskets come from Don's own shelves, in original Stant bags marked Made in USA.
No list price. Let's make a deal.
Don and Kathy don't do fixed prices on these. It works like a good swap meet: tell them what you need and how many, and they'll work out a fair deal with you one on one. Buying for a club, a shop, or a whole fleet of project cars? Even better.
